Yep, you’ve got a point. The whole ecchi thing these days is a love-it-or-hate-it situation, and if it bothers you, that’s totally valid.
Even if some people likes it, it must be admitted that forcing ecchi into shows that weren’t designed specifically for it (like High School DxD) can be a bit jarring and throw off the whole vibe and pacing of the story.

Yep, we totally feel the same way.

Unfortunately, with both anime being adaptations from light novels, especially within the isekai genre that sees numerous series every season, there’s never certainty about getting a sequel.

It all comes down to how the audience reacts, and that’s mainly what the animation studios use to decide if it’s worth the money and effort to continue.
Let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope they change their minds and give us more seasons.
