Hey there, yes I will always recommend you to start One Piece but it’s faster to catch up with the manga…

You can skip filler episodes in the anime but it’s still faster to just read the manga and then watch the coolest anime episodes.

If you have a lot of time, you can opt for the anime instead (without filler episodes).

In both cases it’s a lot of work but we are talking about OP, so it’s absolutely worth it.

The ending of Toradora! does NOT have an entirely happy ending. It leaves you feeling cheated just when you think you get the story to end with everything tied up with a bow, it changes and throws you for a loop. Great anime, but without a season 2 to wrap up the story, it leaves you sad, hanging, and wanting more.

As someone who’s relatively squeamish I still find a unique hard-to-describe beauty to most gory 80’s anime movies and holy moly ninja scroll! What a throwback! That anime shocked a lot of people back in the day haha.

It’s probably well-documented by now how big of deal One Punch Man’s two mangas are but I’ll gush about them either way. I started my read around 2014. The webcomic is still ahead of the manga but both got plenty of content, especially compared to 9 years ago where translations were scarce.

In reply to Doom. Hey there, Gurren Lagann is actually Gainax but we understand it's easy to confuse it for a Trigger production due to the staff that worked on it and Hiroyuki Imaishi in particular. You can find it referenced in our other article on Gainax though.
